Chasing - The gates & vents have to be ground off and the surface details have to be ground back in. For this, we use the Large Table Grinder to remove most of the gates & vents and the Dremel or the Fordham Roto-Tools for the fine detailing.
Again, a firm but light touch and frequent checks of grinding progress ensure that we do not grind off too much. This is the last serious detailing point in the casting process, so you can bet your bippy that precision is imperative. Fucking up at this point is really frustrating.
